Project Description
Kangaroo Flat Primary School is located in Bendigo, Victoria. At the beginning of 2019 they were successful in receiving funding from Bendigo Community Health Services and School Focused Youth Services to employ and engage the Dogs Connect Full Scale Program.
As part of this package Bonnie was introduced as a permanent member of their school community. Bonnie is a female medium Groodle who brings light and joy to so many people in her daily work. Impacts measured so far at Kangaroo Flat Primary School have surpassed all expectations. She is making a clear positive impact on individual students, staff, families and the wider school community. Bonnie is only very early in her career but she has found her calling. The dedication of the people involved in this work at Kangaroo Flat Primary School is awesome to witness.
